Mondsee-Wiener Liederhandschrift#
Mondsee-Vienna Song Manuscript (Mondsee-Wiener Liederhandschrift), dates back to the middle of the 15th century, probably written in Salzburg, 1472 owned by P. Spoerl, a burgher of Salzburg, at the end of the 15th century bound to form a codex with 2 other manuscripts in Mondsee, now in the National Library in Vienna. 24 religious and 56 secular songs in late Middle High German (a great many by the "Monk of Salzburg") and 12 meistersinger songs have been handed down.
