The challenges of coaching and mentoring 29 A research agenda The paucity of research in the area of coach-AI partnerships provides many opportunities for research. Amongst themes that could usefully be explored are: Ȥ To what extent are existing models of learning dialogue and coaching conver- sations applicable to the greater information content of AI-assisted coaching? Ȥ What will an effective coach-AI partnership look like? (What implications does this have for coach education and accreditation?) Ȥ What would a »Turing test« for an AI coach consist of?
