• Exploring a new code for smart classroom analysis, and
• Ontological representation approach of learner profile and learning style for
adaptive learning
The papers explore the multiple roles of social media in learning and associated implementation
models, various aspects of mobile learning (e.g., team activities, learning context, and
mobile blended), smart learning systems, smart classrooms, and learner analyses related
to adaptive learning. Together these contributions have the potential to greatly advance
the research and practice in the multi-disciplines associated with intelligent educational
environments and innovative ways of learning.
As a final note, we wish to express our sincere thanks to the SOFIEE’19 paper
reviewers and the Program Committee for their thorough reviews and continuous
support. Special thanks to Professor Juan Augusto for creating the informative and
appealing website for this workshop. We will also like to acknowledge our gratitude to
the authors who submitted their contributions and to those who will travel to Rabat
Morocco to enrich the event with their 'in-person' presentations.
We are looking forward to meeting you all in Rome, which will allow us to build a
strong community dedicated to introducing exciting innovations to education.
