Stracke is ICDEChair in OER andAssociate Professor for Open Education and Innovationsat theOpenUniversityof theNetherlands (OUNL). Inadditionhe is anAdvisory Professor at the East China Normal University (ECNU) in Shanghai, and anAdjunct Professor at theKoreaNationalOpenUniversity (KNOU) in Seoul. Christian holds a Ph.D. in Economics (Dr. rer. pol.) from theUniversity of Duisburg-Essen (Germany) and aMagister Artium (M.A.) in Educational Sciences from theUniversity of Bonn (Germany). He is a senior researcher and strategy consultantwith international reputation and excellent references (>150publications). As an internationally recognized expert and innovator, hismain research andworking fields are:OpenEducation, technology-enhanced learning,educationalpoliciesandphilosophy, learning innovations and quality, impact assessment and competence development. Christian has got 20+ years of business and research experience in HR and E-Learning in leading research teamsand large-scale projects (>100projects, >50Mio.EUR)and in consulting and supportingministries, public authorities and institutions to develop long-termpolicies and to improve learning innovations and quality.
