Inadditionhe is anAdvisory Professor at the East China Normal University (ECNU) in Shanghai, and anAdjunct Professor at theKoreaNationalOpenUniversity (KNOU) in Seoul. Christian holds a Ph.D. in Economics (Dr. rer. pol.) from theUniversity of Duisburg-Essen (Germany) and aMagister Artium (M.A.) in Educational Sciences from theUniversity of Bonn (Germany). He is a senior researcher and strategy consultantwith international reputation and excellent references (>150publications). As an internationally recognized expert and innovator, hismain research andworking fields are:OpenEducation, technology-enhanced learning,educationalpoliciesandphilosophy, learning innovations and quality, impact assessment and competence development. Christian has got 20+ years of business and research experience in HR and E-Learning in leading research teamsand large-scale projects (>100projects, >50Mio.EUR)and in consulting and supportingministries, public authorities and institutions to develop long-termpolicies and to improve learning innovations and quality.
