Thisopenresearchinitiativecontemplates integratedstudiesofeducational inno- vation in openmass courses and open repository systems.Research contributes to open education by analyzing the effectiveness of strategies, resources and learning in open environments, aswell as the challenges of integrating educational innova- tion into technological systems, where open platforms and technologies have not yet reached their potential for accessibility, usability and availability of the OER (Ramírez-Montoya,2019c). Theopenresearchproject:studiesofeducationalinnovationintheopenmovement highlights studies that are carried out by researchers,master students and students of two doctoral programs (Mexico and Spain) that participate in the Educational InnovationResearchGroup, in theOpenergyNetwork and in theUNESCO/ICDE OpenEducationalMovement forLatinAmericaChairs. The research activities are carried out in a network, with collaboration, open knowledge, experimentationandopeneducation research.Theresultsaccount for5 graduate students of theMaster’s program, 3 Ph.D. graduates, 21 articles, 37 pro- ceedings, 8 thesis and 3 books (production available in the open repository of the TecnologicodeMonterrey,linkhttps://tiny.cc/Ritec-RedOpenergy).Thefocusofthe research carried out revolves around the innovations of theMOOCs and the insti- tutional repositorywhere the knowledge generated is preserved and disseminated (Fig.10.8). Thisproject contributes toopen researchwith thedevelopmentof talent, the sci- entific knowledge of educational innovation in open education, open publications, systematicmapping of literature and systematic reviews of literature.
