Effiziente Industrialisierungsprozesse sind nämlich nicht nur ein einmaliger, sondern ein langfristiger Wett- bewerbsvorteil. Der Grund: Effiziente Organisati- onsprozesse sind nicht leicht zu kopieren. Interne Prozesse sind von außen nur schwer zu analysie- ren. Sie sind selten ohne Anpassungen übertrag- bar. Ihre Implementierung kostet viel Zeit. Mit einem Satz: Prozess-Know-how sichert den lang- fristigen Wettbewerbsvorsprung15. Der Schlüssel für Effizienz im Industrialisierungsprozess Steigende Funktionalität und Kundenindividu- alität werden in der Praxis durch immer höhere Industrialisierungsaufwände erkauft. Beispiel Volkswagen: Seit 2010 wurden 4916 neue Modelle auf den Markt gebracht. Die Steigerungsrate betrug von 2010 bis 2014 rund 25 %. Im gleichen Zeitraum stiegen die Entwicklungskosten aber um 80 %. Die Margen pro Fahrzeug wurden deutlich kleiner. Der Schlüssel zur Effizienzsteigerung im Industrialisierungsprozess ist also im Zusam- menhang zwischen steigender Funktionalität (Kunden individualität) und steigenden Industria- lisierungsaufwänden zu suchen – und zu finden. But in the same period, development costs increased by 80 percent. The margins per vehicle shrank significantly. The key to increasing efficiency in the industrialization process needs to be sought – and found – in the relationship between increasing functionality (customer individuality) and increa- sing industrialization efforts.
