Nehmen wir den StreetScooter, das Produkt: Body, Compartement, Türen, Fahr- werk, Motor, Powertrain, Antrieb, Batterie, Innenraum, Thermo-Management – das ist mein Verantwortungsbereich. Es gibt mittlerweile auch ein Fahrrad, ein Pedelec. Es gibt drei Modelle von uns: Die Transpor- ter-Modelle „Work“ und „Work L“, das „E-Bike“, das ist das Pedelec und es gibt das „E-Trike“, ein Dreirad, ein Fahrrad, das mehr laden kann als das E-Bike. Mit dem StreetScooter haben Sie das Elektrofahr- zeug weiterentwickelt? Nein! Einspruch. Wir haben explizit ein neues Elektrofahrzeug für den Kurzstrecken- verkehr entwickelt, denn Autofahrer legen täg- lich meist ohnehin nur Strecken bis 50 Kilometer zurück. Dass daraus letztendlich dann ein Trans- portfahrzeug wurde, kam durch den Einstieg der Deutschen Post. Auch die Zusteller der Post legen täglich nur kürzere Strecken zurück. Aber warum unbedingt eine Neuentwicklung? Weil es bis dato noch kein Elektrofahr- zeug speziell für dieses Segment gab. Es gab ja schon in den 1980ern und -90ern Bestrebun- gen, Elektromobile auf den Markt zu bringen, mit place so special. These huge production halls, these old, beautiful brick buildings. Take the StreetScooter, the product: body, compartment, doors, chassis, engine, power- train, drive, battery, interior, thermal management - this is my area of responsibility. There is now also a bicycle, a pedelec. There are three models from us: the transpor- ter models „Work“ and „Work L“, and the „E-Bike“, which is the pedelec and there is the “E-Trike“, a tricycle, a bike that can carry more load than the E-Bike.
