VULNERABLE418 least during the pandemic, governments across Canada must work together to ensure migrants’ timely and effective access to medically necessary health care and sufficient income assistance, akin to what is promised to citizens. This must be accompanied by the assurance that accessing benefits will not jeopardize migrants’ ability to remain in and/or return to Canada. Solidarity, as opposed to a mentality of us- versus-them, will be our key to success in weathering this pandemic.
