VULNERABLE444 At a minimum, pandemic response and preparedness should endeavour to ensure that the structures and resources that assist mentally ill persons to follow public health directives are in place. Although better attention to the needs of this vulnerable group will not avoid all of the challenging cases and tensions identified in this chapter, it will certainly help and should be pursued now and after the pandemic.
