Österreichische Automobilfabrik ÖAF-Gräf & Stift AG#
Oesterreichische Automobilfabrik OeAF-Graef & Stift AG, formed in 1971 as the result of a merger of (see) Oesterreichische Automobil Fabriks-AG and (see) Graef & Stift, with headquarters in Vienna-Liesing (expanded in 1985-87, when other production sites in Doebling and Floridsdorf were closed down). Produces mostly lorries, heavy trucks and special (e.g. fire-fighting) vehicles as well as underbodies for buses and coaches. In 1998/99 the company had a staff of 897 workers and reported sales in the order of ATS 2.9 billion. Like (see) Steyr Nutzfahrzeuge AG (and its joint marketing subsidiary OeAF & Steyr Nutzfahrzeuge OHG, founded in 1995) it belongs to the MAN-Nutzfahrzeuge group in Austria.
