Albertinischer Plan#
Albertinischer Plan (Albertinian Map), colored pen-and-ink drawing in the Historisches Museum der Stadt Wien (Historical Museum of the City of Vienna), one of the oldest medieval city maps, a copy from the 2nd half of the 15th century after an original probably drawn in 1421/1422. The map gives an overview of the walled-in city and its immediate surroundings, also showing Pressburg (now Bratislava) in the upper left corner. The Danube, River Wien and Alserbach stream are also shown, as well as churches, monasteries and the university.
