Comparative; Business; Economics & LawBio #
An expert in comparative corporate law and governance, Professor Martin Gelter joined Fordham Law School in 2009. He teaches Corporations, Partnership and LLC Law, Comparative Corporate Law, and Accounting for Lawyers. His research, which has been published in leading journals and books both in the United States and Europe, focuses on comparative corporate law and governance, legal issues of accounting and auditing, and economic analysis of private law. He has been a Research Member of the European Corporate Governance Institute since 2006, and he is a member of the New York bar. At Fordham, he works closely with the Corporate Law Center and is a co-director of the Center on European Union Law.
