Auslandsbuero der oesterreichischen Sozialdemokraten (Austrian Social Democrats' External Office in Bruenn/Brno), 1934-39 headquarters of the Austrian Social Democrats who had fled Austria and foreign base for the Social Democrats illegally active in Austria, headed by O. Bauer; publishers of the Arbeiterzeitung (labour newspaper), which had been banned in Austria. After being closed down, the office continued to operate as the "Auslandsvertretung der oesterreichischen Sozialisten" (Foreign Representative Office of the Austrian Socialists) in Paris and in London; dissolved by F. Adler.
