Buermoos, province of Salzburg, municipality in the district of Salzburg Land, alt. 439 m, pop. 3,445 (1981: 3,028), area 6.95 km2; small village located in the northern Flachgau region near the Upper Austrian and Bavarian borders; industry and trade; production of dental instruments and electric devices; galvanising shop; foundry; peat works (peat digging since 1862); low-lying wetlands in the vicinity.
