Bahr-Mildenburg, Anna#
b. Vienna, Nov. 29, 1872, d. Vienna, Jan. 28, 1947, Kammersaengerin* (soprano), known especially for her performances in all the great Wagner roles, married to H. Bahr (1909). Pupil of R. Papier-Paumgartner; 1895 debut as Bruennhilde in Hamburg. Brought by G. Mahler 1898 to Vienna where she excelled in numerous dramatic roles at the Vienna Court Opera (1928 honorary member); took up teaching later on.
