Berufspädagogisches Institut#

Berufspaedagogisches Institut (Institute for vocational teacher training), institution for the further training of teachers in vocational schools (until 1975, these institutes also provided preparatory courses for the teacher training certificate exam) and for educational research. They were established in the provinces from 1966 onwards but merged into the Paedagogische Institute (educational institutes).
