Beschorner, Alexander Markus#
b. Levice, Slovakia (then Leva), June 1823, d. Vienna, Oct. 31, 1896, manufacturer. Settled in Bruenn (Brno) as tinsmith and in 1860 founded a factory for the manufacture of metal goods in Vienna, later also in Berlin and Budapest; first to manufacture metal coffins from sheet zinc.
