Borsody, Julius von#
b. Vienna, April 8, 1892, d. Vienna, Jan. 14, 1960, film architect, brother of the cameraman and director Eduard von B. in charge of sets and costumes in approx. 150 films from the early days of the silent film era onwards; built famous monumental structures on the Laaerberg (a mountain near Vienna) for A. Kolowrat-Krakowsky's film company "Sascha Film". Also worked as a stage designer and an interior designer in Berlin, Munich and Vienna.
