Brandner Tal#
Brandner Valley, Vorarlberg, romantic mountain valley, leads to the Ill valley near Bludenz. The Alvier river runs through the valley, which is dominated by Schesaplana mountain (alt. 2,965 m). The Walser settled in the valley during the 14th century; before them, the Rhaetians had used the area as pasture land. The village of Brand is situated in the upper valley, Buers and Buerserberg with Schesatobel mountain, the largest mud flow in Europe, in the lower part of the valley.
