Bruck, Karl Ludwig Freiherr von#

b. Elberfeld (Germany), Oct. 8, 1798, d. Vienna, April 23, 1860 (suicide), statesman. Founder of the Trieste stock exchange and the Austrian Lloyd; Minister of Commerce 1848-1851, Minister of Finance 1855-1860; created commercial courts and chambers of commerce.
