Federal Press Service, section of the Federal Chancellery, in charge of all activities serving to inform the government and to inform the public of the work of the government. The Federal Press Service establishes contacts with the national and foreign press as well as with other mass media; it co-operates with the Austrian Press Agency and the journal "Wiener Zeitung"; it participates in the preparation of documentations of the federal government. The Federal Press Service is responsible for the printing, distribution and editing of all information brochures within its field of action; it draws up public relations programmes. The Federal Press Service publishes the following publications: "Oesterreich-Bericht", "Informationen aus Oesterreich", "Auslandspresseschau" and "Oesterreichisches Jahrbuch".
