Cappi#
Cappi, famous Viennese music company during the 1st half of the 19th century; founded 1801 by Giovanni Cappi (formerly part of Artaria & Comp.); they soon had a prestigious repertoire (including works by Beethoven). After the death of G. Cappi the company changed its name several times, until Eduardo Mollo became its partner in 1837; the company was taken over by Eduard Sieger in 1868.
