Chorinsky, Gustav Ignaz Graf#
b. Vienna, Jan. 27, 1806, d. Vienna, Oct. 15, 1873, civil servant; son of Count Ignaz Karl Chorinsky, father of Count Karl Chorinsky. 1850-1860 governor of Carniola, 1860-1862 of Moravia and Silesia, 1862-1868 of Lower Austria. There he introduced the so-called Amtskalender, an encyclopedia of all offices and authorities in Lower Austria at that time (now of all offices in the entire Republic). Member of the Upper Chamber of the Reichsrat from 1867.
