Ebendorfer, Thomas auch Thomas de Haselbach#
b. Haselbach near Stockerau (Lower Austria), Aug. 10, 1388, d. Vienna, Jan. 12, 1464. Theologian and historian, studied at the Faculty of Arts and theology at the University of Vienna, where he was professor, dean and rector; ordained as a priest in 1421 (parishes of Krems, Falkenstein and Perchtoldsdorf); envoy to the Council of Basle, the Imperial Diets in Mainz, Frankfurt and Nuremberg; wrote series of sermons, theological/philosophical and historical works (e.g., Cronica Austriae to 1463, Cronica regum Romanorum 1451). Buried in the parish church of Perchtoldsdorf.
