Fahringer, Carl#
b. Wr. Neustadt (Lower Austria), Dec. 25, 1874, d. Vienna, Feb. 4, 1952, painter, graphic artist and illustrator. Studied in Vienna and Munich; important Austrian animal painter who developed a postimpressionist painting technique characterized by broad brushwork.
