Felbertal#
Felbertal Valley, province of Salzburg, valley lined with Alpine meadows situated on the south side of the Salzach River in Pinzgau; drained by the Felber stream (excellent water quality); stretches from Lake Hintersee near the Tauernkogel mountain (alt. 2,989 m) to the town of Mittersill; Felbertauern Tunnel. The name originates from the village of Felben (late Gothic church built in1479 with Baroque high altar).
