Feyerabend, Paul Karl#
b. Vienna, Jan. 13, 1924, d. Zurich (Switzerland), Feb. 11, 1994, philosopher. 1959-1990 professor at the University of Berkeley (USA) and 1979-1991 professor at Zurich University of Technology. F. has developed a theory of knowledge which, in contrast to K. Popper and his rationalism, rejects all binding regulating systems and is based on spontaneity and creativity.
