b. Oberdrauburg (Carinthia; ?), 1693, d. Klagenfurt (Carinthia), Dec. 9, 1760, painter, from 1733 "the landscapist of Carinthia". Played a dominant role as a painter in Carinthia during the period of baroque painting.
