Gaweinstal, Lower Austria, market town in the district of Mistelbach, alt. 199 m, pop. 3,024, area 51.60 km2 situated on the upper Weidenbach stream, on the Bruenner Strasse road in the Weinviertel region. - Bottling of mineral water, metal working and plastics recycling industries (windows, doors), sawmill. - Baroque parish church (1668, 1702-1706), interior from the 18th century; presbytery (17th century) and Trinity Column (1686).
