Gewey, Franz Xaver Karl#
Gewey, Franz Xaver Karl, b. Vienna, April 14, 1764, d. Vienna, Oct. 18, 1819, author, popular playwright and actor. From 1789 civil servant, continued the Eipeldauer-Briefe in 1813-1819 which had been begun by J. Richter (12 issues per year).
