Gnas, Styria, market town in the district of Feldbach, alt. 279 m, pop. 1,767, area 15.83 km2 Situated in the hilly region of Eastern Styria south of Feldbach. Flourishing commercial and industrial town: - Shoe and clothes manufacturing, production of fertilizers, chicken farms (eggs), fruit plantations, production and sale of building materials, haulage firm. - Late-Gothic parish church, Calvary, Virgin Column (1678).
