Gredler, Willfried, b. Vienna, Dec. 12, 1916, d. Vienna, Nov. 18, 1994, commercial lawyer and politician (Austrian Freedom Party, FPOe). 1953-1963 member of the Nationalrat (in Verband der Unabhaengigen, renamed Austrian Freedom Party in 1956), 1956-1963 chairman of the Austrian Freedom Party. 1963-70 Austrian representative at the Council of Europe, 1970-1980 ambassador in Bonn and Peking. Candidate in the presidential election of 1980
