Hüttau#

Huettau, province of Salzburg, municipality in the district of St. Johann, alt. 697 m, pop. 1,498, area 53.58 km2, bi-seasonal tourism (51,000 overnight stays), located in the Fritztal valley in the Pongau region. Wood-working industry, trade in agricultural machinery. First documented mention 1325, mines and metallurgical works 16th -19th  centuries; Gothic parish church (1472-92) with altars by A. Mascagni; old Pongau Paarhof and Haufenhof farm buildings (17th and 18th  centuries).
