Hagen, Ernst, b. Prague (Czech Republic), Feb. 7, 1906, d. Vienna, March 1, 1984, actor, journalist, author; acting engagements at Austrian and German theatres; founded the "ABC" revue theatre in Vienna in 1931 and also arranged programmes for other cellar theatres (e.g. "Literatur am Naschmarkt"); worked mainly as a cultural journalist; radio shows ("Das Leben beginnt mit 60") and television ("Seniorenclub", more than 500 episodes); writings (including "Muessen Maenner so sein?").
