Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic (then Karlsbad), June 15, 1706, diplomat; father of Count Franz Anton Harrach, Count Aloys Thomas Raimund Harrach and Count Johann Joseph Philipp Harrach. 1661 envoy and 1669 ambassador to France, 1673-1675 and 1697/1698 ambassador to Spain, 1677-1699 Chief Equerry, 1699-1705 Chief Controller and president of the secret state conference, minister. In 1689 acquired Bruck an der Leitha.
