Maria Ellend#

Maria Ellend, Lower Austria, cadastral district of the municipality of Haslau-Maria Ellend in the district of Bruck an der Leitha, alt. 186 m, pop. 1,089, area 24.83 km2, place of pilgrimage east of Vienna; situated near the entry of the River Fischa into the River Danube. - Pilgrimage church (1770), Late Baroque high altar and pulpit, the rest of the interior is of modern design; column dedicated to St Anthony (1741); missionary training centre.
