Hauff-Nagl, Angelika eigentlich Alice Suchanek#
b. Vienna, Dec. 15, 1922, d. Vienna, Dec. 3, 1983, actress, Kammerschauspielerin. Trained as dancer at the Vienna State Opera, later took acting lessons; in 1942 debut at the Salzburg Landestheater. Played in numerous films about circus acrobats ("Zirkus Renz" 1943, "Koenigin der Landstrasse" 1948), often gave guest performances at the Burgtheater in Vienna and from 1956 was a member of that theatre. In later life founded a society to cultivate Christian theatre tradition, and also persuaded many famous actors to join the performances of this society in churches in Vienna.
