Mondsee (Upper Austria), 1518; from 1474 Benedictine monk in Mondsee; translator (translation of the Bible, epistles, gospels), poet (?) and collector of sacred and secular popular literature in German. 4 anthologies (1478-1518) have been preserved with songs, poems, prayers, verses, dialogues, recipes, satires and short dramas in German and Latin.
