Henndorf am Wallersee, Salzburg, municipality in the district of Salzburg province, alt. 551 m, pop. 3,923 (1981: pop. 2,832), area 23.47 km2, summer tourism (52,293 overnight stays), located in the Flachgau region north-east of the city of Salzburg. - Golf course; leatherwear, cheese factory, production of crystal glass, sawmill. - First documented mention around 730; parish church rebuilt 1792-1797; late-Gothic filial church (around 1449); Holy Sepulchre chapel (1721); former archiepiscopal Braeumeisterhaus (head brewer´s house) (1712); farm buildings typical of the Flachgau region ("Flachgauer Einhoefe").
