Sankt-Hermagoras-Verein#
Sankt-Hermagoras-Verein, association established in 1851 by Carinthian Slovenes, biggest organisation of the Slovene people in Austria, headquarters in Klagenfurt, close co-operation with neighbouring Slovenia. Activities: Publication and distribution of Slovenian literature, established the Slovenian state-run Gymnasium secondary school, the private bi-lingual Volksschule (primary school) and boarding facilities for school-children in Klagenfurt, runs and participates in various businesses (printing-shop, book shops). The Sankt-Hermagoras-Verein is the overhead organisation of the political, cultural and religious organisations of Carinthian Slovenes.
