Hilscher, Albert#
b. Hanover (Germany), Aug. 19, 1892, d. Vienna, Nov. 12, 1964, photographer. 1920, after training as a cinema mechanic, started to teach himself photography. Later worked for "Abend" and became the Viennese representative of the agency "Wide World Photos". Leading photo-journalist in Austria during the period between World War I and World War II, specialising in press photography.
