Hirschl, Josef Adolf#
b. Teplice-Šanov, Czech Republic (then Teplitz-Schoenau), April 19, 1865, d. Vienna, Jan. 1, 1914, neurologist, psychiatrist; 1911 professor in Vienna; pioneering work in research on venereal diseases and progressive paralysis, which he found to be triggered by syphilis.
