Hochburg-Ach, Upper Austria, municipality in the district of Braunau, alt. 462 m, pop. 3,105, area 40.07 km2, twin municipality on the River Salzach, on the border of Austria and Bavaria; surrounded by the Weilhartforst forest (approx. 10,000 hectares). - Customs office, customs authority department. - Parish church with Gothic nave (around 1400) and attached Rococo structure (1770/71), frescoes and side altar paintings by J. della Croce, pilgrimage madonna (around 1490).
