Hofmann, Hellmut#

b. Vienna, Dec. 12, 1921, electrical engineer. Studied technical physics at Vienna University of Technology 1942-48. Following work in private industry, habilitated in Theoretical Electrical Engineering in 1958, from 1965 Professor and Head of the Department of Fundamental and Theoretical Electrical Engineering and 1967-72 Head of the External Relations department of the University of Technology. Professor emeritus (1988).
