Hohenburg#
Hohenburg Castle Ruin, Carinthia, alt. 979 m, fortress ruins above the Lurnfeld region (municipality of Lurnfeld), with remains of a Romanesque keep, in the 11th /12th centuries main castle of the Counts of Lurn. Tool finds from the Neolithic Age. Outside the fortress, Baroque Maria-Hohenburg pilgrimage church (15th century, extended 1706) with Romanesque portal. Traditions: play ("Armensuenderspiel") at Passiontide.
