Hoppe, Emil#
b. Vienna, April 2, 1876, d. Salzburg, Aug. 14, 1957, architect. Student and assistant to O. Wagner, 1909-1918 joint practice with M. Kammerer and O. Schoenthal, after Kammerer left, H. and Schoenthal ran the practice until H. was forced into exile in 1938. Elaborated on the tradition of Wagner, esp. in the Krieau trotting course in Vienna (1911-1913, 1918).
