Hubertendorf#
Hubertendorf, former hunting seat (17th /19th centuries) in the municipality of Blindenmarkt (Lower Austria), where the first state-run "Baeuerliches Volksbildungsheim", a non-denominational school teaching its students life skills and forming their characters, was established in 1929. The "Hubertendorf Leitsaetze" (1930) were known beyond the borders of Austria as a model for education in rural areas. After the completion of 4-month courses many students worked for interest groups or held political office.
