INTERPOL#

INTERPOL, in full: International Criminal Police Organisation, international association of the criminal police authorities of about 150 member states to provide mutual aid and assistance in the interest of the prevention of crimes and the prosecution of lawbreakers. Founded in 1923 in Vienna at the suggestion of the then president of the police force J. Schober, headquarters now in Paris.
