Jagd- und Wurftaubenschießen#
Skeet and Trapshooting, a sport that developed from the hunting of doves and pigeons with shotguns. For Skeet and Trapshooting as a sport, plate-like discs made of clay or pitch are used as targets. The Austrian Association of Skeet and Trapshooters (Jagd- und Wurftaubenschuetzen Oesterreichs), established in 1952, comprises 98 clubs with 12,423 members (as of 1993).
