Jellinek, Max Hermann#
b. Vienna, May 29, 1868, d. Vienna, May 6, 1938, Germanist, son of Adolf Jellinek and brother of Emil Jellinek-Mercedes. 1900-34 University Professor in Vienna, studied in particular medieval literature and the history of the Germanic and German languages.
